What the application must contain
Under the Communiqué, your application must include the following.
- Name, surname and, if the application is in writing, a signature
- Turkish ID number for citizens of the Republic of Türkiye; nationality, passport number or identity number for foreign nationals
- Residential or business address for service of notice
- Email address, phone and fax number for notification, if any
- Subject of the request
- Information and documents relating to the matter
Ways to apply
You may submit your application by one of the following routes.
- A wet-signed written petition delivered in person or through a notary to our head office
- By email from the address registered in our system that you have previously notified to us
- Through a registered electronic mail (KEP) address — our KEP address will be stated here once it is live
Response time
Your application is concluded as soon as possible and in any case within thirty days, depending on the nature of the request. Where the process incurs a cost, the fee set out in the tariff determined by the Board may be charged.
If your application is rejected, you find the response insufficient, or no response is given in time, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board within thirty days of learning of the response and in any case within sixty days of the application date.
Identity verification
We may request additional information to confirm that the application belongs to the data subject. This is intended to prevent your data from being disclosed to unauthorised persons.
